Sam has over 40 years of experience in public accounting. His areas of expertise are tax planning, investment planning, retirement planning, comprehensive financial planning, and estate/trust planning. Sam graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Financial Planner™ , and Registered Investment Advisor. Sam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Financial Planning Association. Sam currently serves on the Diocese of Pittsburgh Professional Advisory Committee and the Baptists Homes Foundation Professional Advisory Committee. Sam has also served on the United Way of Allegheny County’s Professional Advisory Committee and Pittsburgh History and Landmark’s Professional Advisory Committee.

Sam began his career with the international accounting firm Price Waterhouse. Sam worked in the tax and financial planning areas. He also worked at a local firm for several years. ​
