Sam has over twenty seven years of experience in public accounting. His areas of expertise are tax planning, investment planning, retirement planning, comprehensive financial planning, and estate/trust planning and administration. Sam graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in December of 1985 with honors in Business/Accounting. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Also, he is a Registered Investment Advisor with the Pennsylvania Securities and Exchange Commission. Sam is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and various Certified Financial Planner organizations. Sam also has served on the United Way of Allegheny County’s Professional Advisory Committee, Pittsburgh History & Landmark’s Professional Advisory Committee, Diocese of Pittsburgh Advisory Committee and St. Barnabas Health System Founders Day Committee.
Sam began his career with the international accounting firm Price Waterhouse in February of 1986. Sam worked in the tax and financial planning areas. In November of 1990 he left Price Waterhouse to run the tax and financial planning department of a local firm. In 1993, while at the local firm, he created Kramer Fiduciary Services (KFS). Initially, KFS was created to specialize in the estate and trust administration areas.
In 1996, Sam left the local firm to concentrate on KFS. Today, KFS provides tax, accounting, investment, personal financial planning, retirement, estate and trust, and business consulting services. KFS is located conveniently in Churchill- just ten minutes east of the City of Pittsburgh. KFS staff includes two individuals that provide secretarial, administrative and paraprofessional services. KFS also utilizes the assistance of two CPA’s on a per diem basis. Kramer Fiduciary Services fees are based on hourly time charges with respect to each engagement.
